Intake manifold gaskets

Are intake manifold gaskets for a marine engine any different than automotive gaskets?

No. Just use some good Felpro gaskets.

See if you can get a look at an HP 500 intake gasket. It is made of the same type of material that the Merc exhaust gaskets are. Pretty tough material.
