Default 272 And 275 Owners Prop Selection???

I have a 2002 275 with a 425 hp motor. I have a bravo 22p 4 blade now. It runs 62 on gps with a full tank and passengers and a best of 66 mph. What prop are you running? I like the four blade getting on plane, I would like a better cruising speed. I can only run around 35 mph cruising. I would also like to see a little more up top too. Anyone using three blades? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
John

I have a 25 outlaw and am going thru the prop testing phase right now. best speed out of a 23p 3 blade mirage plus but better cruising with a 4 blade turbo last year. upgraded exhaust and ECU on the 502 mag over the winter and have decided on a 22p 4 blade hydromotive from "throttle up". Just sent it back to them for lab work. Got my boat on plane in about 3 seconds and the ride was fantastic. Call Julie at Throttle up and give her some numbers she will hook you up!

My 272 ran best with a 24 Turbo Vector (3 blade). I would aerate my 23 mirage plus a bit coming on plane but could come out full throttle on the turbo vector. Mid-range and cruise speeds were 5-8 MPH better with a 2-3 MPH better top end. My 2000 272 had a 502 w/ Stainless Marine manifolds that were suppose to be good for around 20-25 HP. By the way I have the 24 Turbo Vector for sale.

I have a '97 272 with a stock 502. I run a lab finished 25 pitch three blade. It was finished by Bret Anderson when he was with Mercury Racing.
Top end is about 65 with light gas and passenger load. Cruise is 43 mph @ 3500 rpm.
The prop tends to cavitate if I get over 3500 coming on plane.

The Turbo Vector is not labbed. It ran at 5000 WOT. My 272 had the standard 1.5:1 Bravo I drive. I have a couple of local guys who already are going to try the prop first. I'm selling it for $225 plus shipping. If I had a single engine Baja I would be giving a Turbo Vector a try.
