How big is your boat and how much do you pay $ for a detail job?

My Marina says $450 to buff and wax the boat on Just the outside 27 foot cabin cruiser.

$15-$20 per foot wash & wax.

I have a guy that does my 35 Fountain for $350.00
He does the cockpit area and the exterior.
Does not do the cabin or engine compartment.

Its a bit much, but he does do a hell of a job.
Does it in my drive way too.

Yeah.......that is typical, but do you really want a marina guy do it? What about some other service? Is it in the water?

15 to 20 is typical here too.

$For a full buff,polish,wetsand if nesessary,including the bottom,my detailer gets $2000.00

You better get a "happy finish" with that price!!!!

What is the cost of a typical "engine compartment" detail for a twin engine application ( non-stagger ). . . . doesn't seem as if it would relate to hull length.
