Unfortunately that has been my experience. It seems like you have to spend thousands on crap work before you can find someone good. So once you find an honest guy it is worth what ever they ask to get a project done. As a contractor for 14 years I have ALWAYS stood behind my work, from what I've seen that is not the SOP in the marine industry, more like a shrug of the shoulders and "what do you want from me"
