Please chime in and offer support for my brother.

As you know my brother has become a Banana Boat expert over the last few years and all his energy comes from the fact that he has been searching for his own Banana Boat that he wants to keep forever and slowly restore.

He found one last year and agreed on a price. Only hitch was he had to sell his Chris Craft to get the money for it.

He has been trying since October to sell his boat. Well the other day a guy came along with Cash in an envelope and 20 minutes later drove off with my brothers boat. Although his daughter was crying "why daddy, we love having a boat", he said, don't worry honey, we are getting a Banana Boat next, just like Uncle Chris'.

He then called the guy that he had been talking to since last summer about buying his Banana Boat, and the dude pulled a nutty and jacked up his price to more than my brother could afford and basically said go screw...

Not cool.

Now my brother has No Boat, the kids are mad at him and I feel horibble.

I believe in Universal Laws, so maybe there was a reason this is happening. Like maybe the thing was gonna fall apart the day after he bought it or something.

Please help my brother out.

On top off all this, the day after it all happened, he went to the Banana forum to seek solice and his membership expired so he couldn't get in.

It just so happens that I know where one is that is for sale - hull #14 - twin older outboards...price seems pretty reasonable to me. Give me a call / e-mail if you guys are interested and I'll give you the details.

Thanks, but the boat in the want ad has been kicking around for about 4 years now.

The current owner paid like $3000 for it and it came with a new trailer and he is looking to flip it for $8000 with out the trailer.

Thank you to everyone that posted. Very much appreciated. I think I found an interesting Banana for my brother and it is local.
