Default 42 Tiger speeds???

What are the speed differences in a stepped and non stepped Tiger with the same power? What year were steps added? What year did cigarette go to composite layup on the Tiger and how much was gained by this?

G.L. is accurate with the 7-8 mph difference in the two hulls. They switched over to the steps in 2001. I have 725 hp in my 2000 and Im going to be 1 mph faster the G.L. no matter what he says his speed is !!

I expect to be around 82 MPH .. 80 mph all day everyday no matter what the conditions are

and your N/A right Bob? hows it coming with the prop tests? In 00 they also started the vacuum bagging of the hulls which helped in strength. Cozzi had my tiger at 73, I'll see how it does in the bay next week... Rob
