Who uses Tie down straps
Ok, Ive been seeing all these boats flying off the trailer. Ive never used straps, and I am going to buy a set today. My boats never been squirrley, but im a believer now.
So how many use and dont use straps?

I used to use straps......but by the time I got to my destination..they were both hanging loose from the boat. I got a new set of ratchet type to try this weekend. I don't want to end up on OSO when I stop quick to give Cheng a ride because his 1/2 ton GMC broke down.

and i don't think it will give you much warning, it will just leave when it decides it needs to..... usually when the bunks are still wet, but not always...

Always safety chain on the bow, and 2 straps on the transom.
Allan4 is an oso guy from Floriduh... and you'll just have to take our word that he is a Putz!! He has a website but heck if I can think of the name of it... some good stuff going on over there too... a lot like OSO but smaller... many of the members there are members here.
