this is my first inboard and length over 21'' boat. it's a 1999 and it lists to the right when crusing. when standing still it sits level in the water. when i open it up WOT it seens to ride normal. this boat does not have trim tabs on it. it has a bravo3 and a 502mpi powerplant. any ideas? is this condition normal with a boat this size? i've tried moving the passangers around when it lists and get no results. thanks...

A boat that size should definitely benefit with trim tabs. On that size, any wind will have an effect on the level of the boat as well. My last 26 didn't have tabs and I felt a similar affect, though it was to the left. You'll be happy with the tabs.. check out the bennett dual ram tabs, if you do some web searching, you can find the prices varies pretty much. And I would opt for the indicators.

In the early 90's Mariah made a nice boat. They went under and someone else bought the name/ etc. These things are slapped together now and your hull could have some sort of hook in it. Whether is does or not, the best/ cheapest way to correct it is to run trim tabs as East Coast said above. Good Luck.
