I just saw the movie "Sahara". Does anyone know what kind of sport cruiser the black boat was? It looked to have jet drives....

Yeah, jet drives for sure and judging by the max rpm they kept showing with the dash shots it had to be powered by diesels... max rpm I saw was about 3500 rpm. I'm guessing it was either a Magnum or a Sunseeker... but I'm guessing.

I found the movie entertaining.

I gotta disagree having seen the movie... nothing about that boat said Chris Craft to me..

Could have been a small purshing (sp) or something like that. Those diesels sounded a lot like big blocks

Yeah, Pershing is a definite possiblity. I've been googling the movie for a while and cannot find any pics of the boat. The trailer shows a couple of short shots of it though... I'll post the link in a minute.

Foul is the movie any good?

I found it entertaining... Penelope Cruz..... enough said!! LOL!!!

It has it's moments... the boat scenes were actually not too bad... unlike some movies. At one point they show a direct shot down the transom and it was definitly jet drives.

but like every movie, the guys with the machine guns never seem to hit the "heros" even though they unload their clips.
