What octane fuel is reqd' in a 7.4mpi engine?

Made to run on 87. Any more is just a waste of $$$$$$$$$.

What about fuel mixed with ethanol will this hose stuff up?

It'll be fine. Just don't store it for a long period of time with ethanol.
