I got home last night and there was a pickup towing a 15-16' fiberglass boat parked in the parking lot of the park across the street from my house. This is not that unusual really.... popular park with a big fishing pond (no boats, but you know how it goes... fishermen have boats....). Anyway, this older fiberglass boat had a single Merc. outboard on it. 4 hp!!! The prop shaft had to be at LEAST 3-4" above the bottom of the boat. Surface drive?? I'll bet my electric MinnKota would make that boat go faster than the 4 hp Merc that was on it simply because I could lower the prop below the bottom of the boat!! LOL!!!

Just struck me as odd...
