Can you use a DA to wet sand then buff out and wax or are you better of wet sanding by hand 88baja red gelcoat thanks for any help. ART

I am told (recently on the board) no rotary, plam sander only. I have been looking for a palm unit with water hook up, $200 so will just buy HD style for $40 and keep wet.

I have the Hutchins model 7544. worked great for when I re gelcoated the entire boat. Still took a long time

I have a hutchins 7004. Works great. I'd hit it with a random orbital using 400 grit dry first if it is really faded then start with 600 wet and go up from there. If it isn't faded very much just start with 600 wet.

Now my question is how long did the rich colors remain before it started to fade again?
