Yes I had 2 sets in my last boat, the only thing is that MB Quart is being dropped by Rockford Fosgate who distributes them in the US, they are also blocking them from importing on their. There is still some stock available but for warranty purpose you may have trouble getting replacements.

I have installed many different brands of marine speakers and believe the MBQuarts give the best combination of volume and clarity. The fact that MBQuart is no longer owned by Rockford Fosgate should be of no concern in my opinion. MBQuart stood strong for years without Rockford Fosgate prior to having been bought by RF. I believe MBQ will continue to be strong and provides a fantastic sounding product.
My company offers many choices in marine, car and home theater products. I would not hesitate to recommend MBQuart and would be more than happy to assist in system design suggestions and continue to offer great deals to OSO members as I have in the past.

I've never heard those, but if MB Quart put their name on them, they're good. I would count on that. Maybe a little pricey, but good. I used to sell Quart at a local car audio dealer and they were pretty awesome.

Have been redoing the stereo in my new to me 2000 '38 Fountain over the last three weekends. Added 3 pair of these 6-1/2" MB Quart's in the cockpit. Finally got everything up and running today for the first time and all I can say is they sound really, really good. Loud and clear. Just don't get the cheaper version (I think they're called NKA's). You want the NKD's, they handle a lot more power. I will warn you that they take a really large cutout, 5.6", which is a little more than an inch larger than most 6-1/2" speakers. Good luck.
