Exhaust question on 25 ol
I just bought a new 05 25' OL. It's got a 496mag without the silent choice exhaust. It's got mufflers through the hull, and they've got to go!! I'm looking for suggestions. Can I ditch the mufflers and bolt-on a set of tips? I've seen some in the classifieds, but I need to know the exact thing to do or what others have done in the past. Thanks

I have an 04' 25 OL with the HO and just switched out the tips 2 weeks ago----what a difference now it sounds good. I used Eddie Marine 4" Standard Length with internal flapper. The only problem with these tips is at idle you can hear a rattle----bump the thottle a little and its gone.

Yeah, I"ll be at the Moor's which is a few bays down. You'll be at the Rock Quarry I assume? Saturday I have to attend a wedding 
so I'll be out on Sunday and Monday, and maybe a short time on Saturday morning. I'll be with JLSnyder in a 26 Sonic, then there should be a few other Baja's, a 388 Slingshot, and a 288 Sunsation.
