Can you find out any info with a boat hull ID # ? If there was ever an ins. claim or warranty work done on it ?

If it has Merc engines, any dealer can tell you what has been donr warranty wise with the engines, and I would assume that if the builder was involved in warranty work they would have records of it if you provided a hull ID #. As far as insurance claims I doubt there would be any way to chase that stuff down unless the previous owner was willing to give his agent permission to share his history with you, and that's only any good if he is the original owner.
