Prop for 24 Outlaw / 385HP ?
#1
My buddy has a 1997 24 Outlaw with the 385HP / 454MPI and standard drive height. He is running a 21P Mirage 3 Blade and gets 62 mph at 4800rpm. Anyone played with other props on this boat / motor combo? We popped a 22 P Hydro 4 Blade and lost speed, tried a 23 P Mirage and no gains. The drive is at standard height from Baja. Thanks, Dave

I've got a 22" Mach sterndriver 4 blade that just might work for you. It was only used 2 times . I used to run a 26" sterndriver on my 95 24 Outlaw and it was by far the best all around prop on that boat.

I had the best results with Merc Rev 4 prop. The boat needs a little stern lift. Unfortunately the hull is not that efficient for speed. Matt & Julie may have a 19 & 21 Rev you could try.

I know several guys that run that boat. Most of them run 24 bravo's some of them labbed. The mirage is a little faster but at the expense of handling and ride.
