I'm gonna take my boat out for the first time of the season this weekend, wondering if anyone else will be in the area that I can run with?
Andy, looking forward to seeing the new boat sometime soon!

Unfortunately, I was unable to make it out this weekend after all. I bought a pair of billet KPM waterpumps from Trick and went to install them early saturday morning and relaized that they don't fit due to interference with the oil pan and fuel pump. I left the Merc waterpump housings in Chicago and none of the marine shops in New Buffalo or Michigan City had any in stock. So I ended up spending some time finishing some minor details on the boat. With the new interior, engines and all, I'm thinking the Mistress is looking and running pretty good and I might not sell her afterall.

Monty,
Hopefully you can make it out next weekend. The lake was pretty nice this weekend, but the air temp is still chilly.

Just received a pair of brand new water pumps from Teague to replace the KPM's that wouldn't fit (although they are beauties), so I should be out there this weekend, weather permitting. I've already fired up both engines and let 'em run for a few seconds, everything looks goods and works properly so I should be ready to go after a couple of quick waterpump swaps.
