My 38 Scarab... Opinions and suggestions?
Ok so, I've had this boat for a few years now and brought it back to life. I just wanted your opinions on the all white hull. Do you think I should add a little something or go all out, or just keep it the way it is. It seems a lot of people like it but I think it looks "unfinished" it's an '89 btw.

I think if you are going to leave it white that you should paint the silver vents on the rear white also, but I think it would look great with a couple of colored stripes, nothing crazy, maybe a light and dark blue, or a light blue and grey/silver, make the light blue about the same color as the bezels to tie the interior to the exterior.

Call Too Old about a new wheel!!! That thing looks like it came out of a 1976 toyota 
otherwise, I like understated color. Some of these paint jobs get a little busy for my taste. A little color would be nice. Good Luck.

LEAVE IT!!! It looks great. Too many boats have paint jobs that are too busy or just plain ugly. There is something classy about a white boat if it has nice lines which yours does, not all boats can pull it off. If you do add some color, make it understated with good taste, you'll remain one of the sharpest boats out there.

In that post 2 pic were you looking for the Apache that had problems? That is about where they had that boat sitting after the incident if I remember right.

I would add some stripes. The all white is classy but not my style, I would add a little life to it. I'll be at NYC with my 1986 34' this year, its called GO TIME. There were a couple older Scarabs there last year. Unfortunately we lost an engine the day before. Hopefully we'll have better luck this year.
