30 vs 36 pleasure deck ?

30 vs 36 pleasure deck ?
I have a chance to get a deal on a windscreen but is from a 36. Anyone know if the windscreen for a 36 will fit a 30 ? I've talked to a couple people and have gotten mixed reply's

the 30 windscreen is a 36 windscreen, but it is cut down the middle and has a polished SS bracket in the middle... As long as it is the one from Spectre and not a aftermarket. The one in the pic of the 36 looks like a aftermarket windshield.

The one that my friend has for sale is like the one in post#3. That is the same small windscreen that Jay is selling for $800. You can call Spectre for thier opinion, but there isn't any reason why it wouldn't fit on your 30. The boat in post#2 is something that was aftermarket or custom made (it completely wraps around the whole dash). The dash of the 30 and 36 seem identical in size. The difference is that the 36 gets wider as it slopes down to the rubrail. Hey! If it is too wide just trim it in the middle. There is a stainless piece that connects the two halves.It slips on top of each side. If you were to trim it, It would be unnoticable.I have been in a 36, I have been in a 30. I have seen the windscreen. In my opinion it would fit your boat. Hope this helps. If you decide to get it,you have my friends phone number.
