Default First of June and Boatless

Sold my H2X yesterday. First summer without a boat in 20 years. Oh well, that is the way some of us have to do it, sell in the summer and buy in the winter.

Just think of all the deals you can look for now, you are in a good position dont hurry up a buy the first thing that floats so you can get on the water. Take your time young grasshopper and you will be rewarded. I know easy for me to say. Good luck.

No problem to take my time. I have plenty to stay busy making money this summer and maybe I can find a deal when it is cold outside and someone is tired of making payments.

Not sure what I am going to get next. Probably stay under 50k. Thinking about a cruiser in the 26' range. I don't live at the lake so it has to be 8'6" beam or less and have a trailer. I could always convince my wife we needed another performance boat if something came along I really liked. If I go with another performance boat, I want something with twins so it would have to be a little older to be in my price range.

Good luck with the search. Never know what you'll end up with. I was looking for a 25 and ended up with a 32'. Just can't pass up the right deal.

That looks really nice and is something that could work for me but just not right now. I am actually considering a cruiser when I do buy but you never know. I sold my boat because I want a bigger one and because I didn't use it much last year and wouldn't much this year either. I am going to finish this year racing motorcycles then sell all my bikes and trailer. Next summer I will be back to boating every weekend so I will be looking this winter but not really till then. If I buy now, I won't have time to use it till next summer anyway.
