Default Edge / Attitude Programers

I installed an Edge / Attitude programmer in my 7.3 and did not see ANY difference in any of the 5 settings? Even the milage setting. No billowing black smoke at the "Extreme" setting or "Race" settings. Has anyone used these in a 7.3? I have driven trucks with the Edge in an 6.0 and saw a big difference. Dave

I have a hypertech for my 8.1 L GM and I am similarly disappointed.

Dave, call Nathan at Edge. You WILL see a big difference in performance. The module is possibly defective.

I agree, you should see a BIG difference. In fact, I wouldn't run it in 5 much. I always kept mine in 3.

I called tech today and they are sending out a new one. I'll see what happens. My last trip to Sarasota I ran down in the milage mode and got 11.8 mpg ( I know it sucks but I am turning 37" tires with stock gears) and on the way back up in stock mode I got 11.6 ??? Performance there was no change, maybe a little mid range but not alot. Thanks, Dave

I sell A LOT of programmers at my store. I have yet to put one in a customer's truck with a gas engine that impressed me. Diesel is a different story.

The 7.3L Edge Juice SUCKS!!!
It was designed to be used as a "Stack on" to an existing chip or tuner.

It makes some soft power and does not have firm shifting. Edge made to unit to compete with the Banks 7.3L six gun.

Even stacked with the Edge Evoluton or the Superchips it Sucks!!!

We were involved in the beta testing of this unit and Edge just would not listen to us..

The Edge does not control shifting on the 7.3. What did you stack it with to control shift points, tire size, etc Dave
