A New Jersey man was arrested and his 41-foot speed boat was confiscated by members of the Yonkers Marine Unit on Sunday night. He initially outran officers who saw him dumping beer bottles off his boat Saturday night but was caught the following night by two other officers from the unit, police said.
Francis Rispoli, 43, of 19 Edward Place, in Woodcliff, N.J., was arrested Sunday night and charged with reckless boating after his boat was spotted in Piermont by Yonkers Police officers George Farrell and Michael Messar of the city's marine unit, police said.
The previous night, officers Dan Higgins and Fred Quinones, also assigned to the Yonkers Marine Unit, were on patrol in the Hudson River when they received a call of a boat in distress south of the Tappan Zee Bridge. As the officers approached the boat, Rispoli came up from below the deck holding a bottle of beer, according to Capt. Frank Messar, commander of the Yonkers Emergency Services Unit. Rispoli then dumped bottles of beer into the river and sped off, eluding the officers. Officers Farrell and Messar were patrolling and received a similar distress call, and spotted Rispoli's boat in the Piermont Marina and arrested him.
He was released on $1,000 bail and is due back in Yonkers City Court on July 6.

Authorities say on Monday Rispoli then went to Tarrytown to pick up his boat at the towing service and was drunk. Police arrested Rispoli again and impounded his car as well.

Another good way is to run past them really close, tipping a beer back and flipping them off.
Just to be sure... have a buddy moon them.
But the best part: Go to get the boat the following Monday... Drunk.
