Unhappy A Sad Day In The Florida Keys

It is truely a sad day in Key Largo. For those of you that have ever visited the restaurant/bar Snooks in Key Largo and have been at the outside bar in the afternoons have met a gentleman at the bar, Ralphy. Ralphy, passed away last night as a result of a severe heart attack that he suffered on Monday evening. Ralphy was always there to serve your favorite beverage and if he knew you, he would have it ready, on the bar, before you got your boat tied up. He always had a good joke, interesting hats and t-shirts, and was loved by all the locals and tourists that kept coming back every time they were in town. You would see him at other local spots in the Keys or putt'n around on his pontoon boat. I always looked forward to stopping in and saying "HI" to Ralphy whenever we were in town whether we had the boat or not. I was glad to have had the oportunity to met such a person as Ralphy, he will be missed by many.............................................

For those that would be interested or might be in the Key Largo area, on July 4th at 7:30 pm there is going to be a celebration at Snooks in remembrance of Ralphy.

For those of us that can't attend, we will toast a glass with those at Snooks from afar..............

REST IN PEACE, MY FRIEND

How sad. I'll be sure to let my Mom know. She's a local and goes there a lot.
