Default Need info on 92 Chevrolet 5.7L Truck engine

Trying to replace a worn-out cheap header system with the factory manifolds....I am getting different answers on weather the engine uses Exhaust Manifold Gaskets or Not......3 different dealers/parts dept say no......But Alldata says yes but no part#......This is on a 1992 Chevrolet K2500 with the 5.7L.......
Thanks

Randy

No Gaskest Required,Just Make Sure The Surfaces Are Flat And Clean, have Manifolds Checked If They Are Used.they Are Designed As A Machine Finish Will Not Leak, gaskets Will Blow Out After Sometime.I Have Done This 100s Of Times With No Problems!TORQUE FROM INSIDE OUT!

'You can go either way really. Factory relies on fresh machined finnish to provide seal but pitted or warped manifolds can be sealed with gaskets.

Gaskets wont hurt anything, but they are not needed.
