Default Where are Chris Reindl and the Bat Boats?

I have been looking at the race schedules and don't see them listed on any of the websites and it doesn't look like he's posted on here in a while. Are they still racing and leasing?

I've been out of racing for almost 2 years. Have things changed that much?

I moved from Texas back to beautiful MI last year and now I work in St. Joe and Live up on Mullett Lake in Cheboygan. So, I'm pretty busy bouncing around the state. It's good to be back on fresh water and I'm getting the bug to buy a big boat again. Don't tell my wife

A couple of his boats are still sitting outside his shop. I don't think they have moved recently though.

I've been wondering the same thing all season.
For the past two years he has hosted a race in Cincinnati on the Ohio river on Father's Day. Nothing this year.
I'd sent him an E-mail a month or two before Father's Day, offering to help with the race, but never got a response.

If that is the case, I understand. He was doing a great job promoting the boats, and the sport, but he couldn't have been making a profit with it. He was keeping his boats at, and working out of the same shop as his father, I stopped there a few times. His Dad seemed annoyed that people were coming into the shop while he was trying to get work done.
Chris showed me a bit about the family business, (honestly, I was more interested in the boats). His gal Terrah is a real sweet gal also. She had been working with him on the bat boat, and race program.
Hey, he gave it a try - my hat's off to that.
If he's selling off the boats, I might be interested.
