Sorry to hear about the problem. We do not manufacturer Aqua Steps, we distribute them. Every installation requires different mounting hardware. When ordering an Aqua Step you're supposed to specify how you're intending on installing it. The proper hardware would have been included had we been informed of the installation. If you didn't get the step you ordered I could understand your statement "buyer beware", but to make that type of comment because you had to buy mounting bolts for an Aqua Step is a little much.

went over every thing with your company 03 eliminator, your platforms (old Style with out taped holes). You sent half inch bolts and your platform is half inch thick. Called and you said go to a hard ware store. NOT, you paid $250 for part, we will send you what you need. I went to store and got longers bolts and than brackets were to short! I finally called aqua step and ask them for what ever parts I need and explained to them that I had been sold by dana products that did not fit what it was sold to me for. I than called bob at eliminator and mike in sterling and told them that when I order a new 33 this winter I will not have ANYTHING from dana on it. Want customer service, THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY!!!!!

We supply short bolts because we drill and tap the bottom of the steps. If I would have known in advance you wanted to thru bolt the brackets we would have supplied the proper hardware. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'd be happy to refund whatever money you spent in stainless hardware. It wasn't our intention to supply you with something you couldn't install. As a token of good faith I'll send you a check for the hardware.
