8.1L volvo's on bravo 1's
hi does anyone know if the volvo 8.1L HO's or MAG
engines can be installed on bravo 1's? what are the changes which need to be made? i already have 2 merc. 7.4L bravo's can i swap parts to make them fit

It will take a little work and some parts, but if you use a Bravo bell housing on the back of the Volvo motor it will couple up. I think you may need to shift motor mounts slightly fore and aft and you would have to run a bravo shift plate and other small changes to get the Volvo 8.1 coupled with the drive. It is do-able.
