Default Looking at 2002 25 Baja Outlaw with......

MX6.2 - 454 with 320 H.P. This seems very underpowered. What should ths boat run as far as top speed with this set up?

I'll sell you mine. It's a 02 with 496 mag ho. Runs 67mph any day of the week. Low fuel and just me and the wife, 71 mph. boat has about 125hrs. Eagle trailer, full mooring cover.

Does that cooler actually stay on the swim platform while underway? I've never seen anyone do that before. I can't imagine it staying in place while running in any water that's close to be rough.

We've done it before when there was a ton of people on the boat but we had them tied down a LOT better plus it was smooth water all the way. Actually worked pretty good.

Two bungie cords hold that cooler in place. We were out last friday in 5-6 footers. It was 20 miles from Lexington harbor to Port Huron. Cooler never moved!

6.2 in the 25 outlaw is not worth it. very underpowered and resale would be verd hard. i wouldnt go less then the 496 mag. i have an 02 with the 496 ho and love it. the speeds listed above are right on and they are gps not speedo.
