I am going down next wednesday (7/27/05) for a week with the family. I definately want to bring the boat down. Does anyone know a place I can keep the boat for the week? Someone told me you have to keep it in Cape May, is this true?? Anyone know of a marina and what it would cost to keep the boat there?? Any good places to go on the boat? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there is a spot just inside Hereford Inlet, which is just north of Wildwood, where a ton of boats beach to have some food drinks. Not like a LOTO party cove thing, but you may get 50 boats beached there. Stone Harbor is the town it is in, I think. Stone Harbor is really a nice town...only about 10 minutes away..make sure to check it out if you get a chance. I believe they have a few harbors where u may be able to get a transient slip. Snug Harbor is one of them. Chamber of commerce may be able to help you out. Check out http://maps.google.com and punch in stone harbor...then click hybrid view in the upper right, and you'll get a good idea of the water around there. There are some low spots in the inlet that are easy to identify from the satellite image. HAve fun......it's very nice down there.

If you are going to be in Wildwood take the boat to Atlantic City (North) and stop at Trump Marina. Great docking and facilities. If your in the mood to go South go to Cape May.

You have the swipes boat, right? I remember your boat the morning of the AC race last year. Horrible weather, heavy rain etc.. I think I saw you heading to AC from Somers point/Ocean City.

We just came back from spending a few days at Cape May. However, I didn't take the boat. You will love having your boat there. It seems like there is alot to check out. Something that always amazes me there is the abundance of Dolphins ( the mammals ) that run up and down the beach herding bait fish. You see them all the time from the beach. They have sight seeing boats that you can go on to get a better look at them, but I just can't bring myself to getting on one.
