Default Several OSO members helping out another... have to say thanks:

Secret Agent Man/Butch... Thanks so much for helping me limp out of the water, up the ramp, and especially pulling my broken outdrive off in the parking lot. HUGE HELP!

GOODT/Joe at www.apmboats.com... gives me his personal phone numbers to ensure that I have no problems in dropping off my boat at the shop late this evening (just returned a bit ago), in an effort to hopefully have me back on the water for the Solomons Island/Baltimore Harbor/Red Eyes Dock Bar fun run this weekend.

DocManRich37/Rich, offering to tow my boat 3+ hours in an effort to get me running for the weekend, as well as offering a loaner drive for the weekend if needed. All while trying to get his replacement motor in, tested, and situated for the same fun run.

ShorelineMarina/Mark, diagnosing problem/broken/replacement parts, via phone and email, all while working in sweltering heat trying to get Rich's boat back up and operational.

There really are a few good folks out there. You just have to be lucky enough to run across them. Thanks again.

I think they they are easy to run across on OSO.

I have been helped every time I needed it.
And I always try to pay it back by helping the next guy.

Thank you John. Still not sure exactly what happened. I talked to Craig, and he said you guys were really stockaded with work for a while, and I did not want to try and weasel in. I have parts coming from a few directions, and will be boating this weekend.

I thought 496HOs were safe with B1 Xx drives!!

I'm certainly not OP's service scheduler.

How exactly does a transom assembly break anyway? Did you figure out if you hit something?
