Default Offshore rescue teams lose one of their own...

It is with deepest sorrow that I write to notify the Offshore Racing community that Rick Holsomback of Key West, Florida, a long time Offshore Rescue "Angel" has lost his battle with cancer this morning July 26, 2005 in South Carolina with family by his side.

Rick has flown as an "Angel" for SBI, APBA, several private teams, and most recently the Offhore Super Series completing the 2004 season in his home town of Key West before retiring due to his illness.

Rick will be saddly missed by his two children; daughter Madison, and son Little Ricky, his family and friends.

Arrangements are pending and will be posted as they become availible.

God Bless you Rick, watch over us and keep us safe; for you have earned your wings.
