I used to hang out all summer at Gilligans Beach Bar on Castle rock lake near Mauston, WI. Large beach, Tiki bar, DJ every weekend, 30-50 boats on any Saturday pull in. Now they are closing, and I must find a new place to hang.

If anyone knows of a place like this anywhere else in WI, especially near WI Dells, I would really appreciate the info.

I heard about the Gilligan's thing...putting up condo's instead huh? We're hoping to make the trip up from the Madison area this weekend. Rumor has it there is a poker run as well as a "homemade bikini contest" on Saturday? There are a few of us in the Madison area that hang out on the Madison lakes...not many places to stop but we have our own mini-version of Gilligan's Island....pretty fun place to stop but not nearly much excitement as Castle Rock's Gilligan's.

Lake Winnebago or Mississippi...We loved the cabin rentals they had and Gilligans. Going to miss

I have been to that bar before. My parents friend has a house right up the channel from the bar. What a great place to hang, sorry to hear that it is closing/
