I am looking for a 28 Cig or Apache. For under 30k. Ideally somewhere around 25k. All the boats I have seen listed are offered in the 35-60k range. Should I wait for winter? Or do you think I can find a nice reliable boat for this price now?

I know this black one can be had for under 30K.
The white one is for sale up in Michigan, and I think he is asking 36K for it.
Thrillseeker on the board had his for sale in past? They are around....

Steve,
Thanks for the link. I am open to other boats (no Bajas or Fountains though - sorry). I'm gonna look into that Sutphen. The Kamma SD makes me a bit nervous.
Nick,
Can you give me more info on those boats? Thanks.
Littledcs,
I saw the boat in the classifieds - nice boat - I just wan't bigger.
Thanks.

Both of the owners are on the board here so if I speak out of turn feel free to blast away.
The black one is a 74 with 383 stokers. Not sure how many hours the motors have, but the interior is brand new. It still has all the original teak on the dash which is cool and it's in very good shape. It has stern power, and both drives have just been gone through this year. It's a cool boat, but you've got to watch your feet on a hot sunny day.
The white one is either a 75 or a 73. It is the Village bicycle so to speak and has been owned by a number of people on this board who all love the boat. I was looking at the boat before I bought mine, and crawled around on it last year at LOTO. It has fairly new 350 mags with Bravo drives. They probably have over 200 hours on them by now. (speculation).
These 28s are great riding old boats, and love the rough stuff. I've had mine for two summers, and wouldn't trade it for anything less then a Top Gun.

The 'Beer B!tch' is for sale - not sure why, cause the wife will make me buy a cruiser...
TwinStep has already told me that if I get a cruiser, OSO will revolk my membership...
Nick nailed most of the details - 25K includes trailer.
PM me if your interested.
