i have a 78 cigarette mistress with fresh 468's trs drives &
23 pitch mirages turning out. i'm running 67 with 4 people &
160 gal fuel. motors are turning about 5400. my props aren't mirage plus. would 23 mirage plus or 25 labbed help get me to 70? the boat is heavy a/c in the cabin etc, and i usually have alot of people on board. my last boat ran around 100mph & i need to get to 70 to get a little excitment back.

loose 3 people and 140 gal. of fuel !

Have you tried rotating the props in?

Otherwise the 25 Mirage Plus Lab Finished would be the next step.

the drives were turning in before the repower but i didn't like the handling. will 23 plus go faster than plain 23?

If the boat doesn't need much bow lift the standard Mirages can be faster.

Always boat downhill. That should get you the 3mph you need.

if i can get the damn lake to kick out some 3-4's i'll probably be close. the boats a dream in big watter but i miss the fun of throttling a cat when you have to be on your game. my cat was only 26ft so i got tired of getting beat up.
