Default REX Manifolds BBC

I've got a line on a set of REX Power Torque exhaust manifolds. My only reservation is that they are offered without the risers.

I'm not certain which risers are compatible with these manifolds. They appear to be a copy of the GIL manifold.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Or if anyone here has a good set of used SS risers (Bravo), that are compatible with these manifolds, let me know.

Pics of the manifolds here:

Depending on when they were manufactured the Rex Powertorques were first made under private label agreements by IMCO and then later by Gil Marine. The two versions are different and require different style tailpipes/risers. Measure the center to center distance of the riser mounting studs, the Gil style is 4-1/4". If thats the case with these manifolds then tailpipes/risers from either Gil, Gil/Mercury or Hardin Marine will fit these manifolds. Stainless Marine also has the capability to build pipes to fit.

A new set of Hardin tailpipes to fit a standard Bravo application run $1,174.99.

There is a set up on Ebay right now, but from the picture they look like they may have been repaired or modified so be careful there.

Let me know if I can help you out anymore.

I appreciate the information.

Not really looking for HP, just something more efficient and more reliable over the Coated Factory Cast Iron Manifolds I'm currently running.

Trying to get a set, while remaining within budget.

E-bay is often a hit or miss opportunity.
