Default Jet Boat Exhaust ???

I have a '77 Kona (day cruiser) with a BBC with the hardin exhaust logs. One of them finally let go & started to leak h20. I bought a set of used Hooker water injection headers but they wont clear the gunnel by aprx 3". Ideally I would like to throw a set of Gils I have laying around but I dont want to hack up the transom. Doing this on a tight budget, anyone have any recommendations ?

Does it have over the transome exhaust? The Gils might work with different pipes. Maybe some TRS rise pipes that go straight back.

Those old exhaust logs robbed a lot of power. You might be able to alter your Gil pipes to fit.

Thats for sure, I bolted up the Hookers backwards just to run it in the driveway. Holy s**t, could tell the huge differance right away. Was hoping CP Perf in Cal had a solution.
