Sorry guys for not posting an update sooner,
I did finally get to see and ride my boat.... but it was this Martin Luther King weekend that I got to go to Havasu. As you may know, I've been getting a custom paint job done on it with a painter in Havasu and it's taken much longer than either of us anticipated. But when I finally got to see my baby... my jaw just dropped. It came out perfect and I wouldn't change a thing on it. I have tons of pics and I should be getting a bunch more from the painter as he took some off London Bridge with me and Bob Sepulveda in it.
The short ride I took on the boat at Havasu was great, the baby is just so fun to carve turns in! ... very much looking forward to messing around with it back in Florida and leaving those Active Thunder guys in my wake
. I want to hold off a bit on this thread as I am planning on writing a big post to the general discussion board when I finally receive my boat in Florida -Jan 29 or so-. I kind of found this sport/money pit
on a whim and I owe a great deal of thanks to several people on the chat site and I also thinkit would be nice for a general audience to hear about how great Advantage was to me during the boat building process. Anyway for now, here's a couple teaser pics of the boat... Enjoy! Best Regards------ John

So how does your stereo sound?? And I hate just getting teaser pic's!!! although it does look sweet, send a few more good ones to my e-mail, and I'll keep them private till the public unveiling, and you've had a bunch of people wondering where the hell you've been!

Hey Rob,
You got mail. I won't have the stereo up and running till it gets in Miami. Advantage stuck in all the speakers and wiring but I will be putting in the amps and flipping the switch... it's going to be slamming tho for a boat this size.
2: Polyplanar plate speakers
4: 6x9 Babbs
2: Polyplanar 10" subs
MMats amps
4x65
1x700 (for the subs)
Also, I'm still thinking on whether or not to stick in an XM radio unit.. I'm pretty sure I will.
Sorry again about the disappearing act... real tied up with work lately and me being the genius that I am, I decided to overhaul my apartment this last month. Hopefully tho, I should have some quality free time when the boat gets in. --- John
P.S. Hey Bro, expect tons of questions from me about this money pit in the next couple of weeks

Thanks for the compliments Millord and Chris,
Can't wait to get the boat in Miami. I mean, it feels weird talking about it as being mine until it's physically here. Until then, please do me a favor and send out positive vibes to the trucker that's flatbedding my baby over here
. Over and out for now---- John

Hey John your boat might get there faster than UPS delivered Chris's speakers(sorry Chris).
John now you need your check list for boating:
1) cash
2) credit cards
3) more cash
all these are required for the amount of gas you will burn.
4) dock lines and bumpers so you can tie up to the gas dock
This weekend will be tough on the pocket and your best freind will be the gas dock attendant.
Have fun, Forrest
