Hi, everyone.
I was so happy Friday night to see all my new friends at the poker run.I really enjoyed myself thoroughly being there with everyone.
I'm so sorry we kinda let everyone down with the mechanical problems we had Sat. morning. We had taken great pains to make sure everything was right for another great run, and everyone was so happy we were there........I knew it was going to be a tough weekend when Friday, I sat between
two 250 pounders on the plane.Little me. I got up Sat. morning and proceeded to get violenty ill and pushed myself to the drivers meeting only to be greeted by Wyatt with the bad news. -Really feeling bad now I wished my crew a safe trip back, declined an alternate ride on the run and got an early trip home to New Jersey, got lost going to O Hare, and had my luggage lost and eventually found-destroyed. Oh, well, the best part was seeing you guys again and having dinner with you. I'm going to miss seeing you all and will get back up there whenever you have an event . I felt like I was representing the club when I was there and want to part of your family, so Im going to join the club and run your name on my boat.
So thanks again for your kindness towards me and my crew. Hope to see you somewhere soon.
Best regards to all,
Rich

I was surprised to find out that you guys had a problem. We would be honered having you join the Chicago Powerboat Club. Having fun is what it is all about , and Friday we had a blast. I will be heading down to Missouri at the end of the month. I will call you to find out if you want to join us at the Shootout at Lake of the Ozarks.

Man, sorry to hear about all of this Rich !
Getting sick, mechanical woes, getting lost, sandwiched on the plane, them loosing and destroying your luggage, it almost sounds like something from a "3 Stooges" episode !
Just trying to cheer you up a little Rich
Thank you again for dinner Friday night, and we look forward to having you and your crew with us on future events.

Rich.......... I was sad to hear that you were ill, and left early. I told Lois that I forgot to give you that top for Cathy, I figured that I'd see you at the dinner. Oh well, guess it's a good thing after hearing of all your trouble with the airlines.
Mike and I tried real hard to get you running sat morning, but unfortunatlly, at that time in the morning there was'nt anywhere to get another fuel pump like the ones that you run. I had a holley blue that I wanted to put on, but when we started looking at the fittings, the regulators, everything that we would've had to change, there was'nt enough time. Mike thought that there were the old ones in the back of the truck, but after looking through all the boxes, he said that they must've been left at the Fountain factory. I felt real bad that you traveled all that way to get here, only to have a bad fuel pump ruin your day. What a shame.
If you still have my home #, give me a call some evening. If I don't hear from you soon, I'll give you a call before the end of the week. It was great spending time with you, Mike, and Wyatt. The stories you guys got are funny, we want to hear more.
Lois says that next time you need to bring Cathy, she has some clothing stores that she wants to bring her to.
You know what that means.
