I got a chance to talk to a variety of guys at the factory this weekend, and I brought up the question about why that blown 40 tested so slow. Bob (Wozy?) told me the biggest reason is they decided to add trim tabs to the boat for the review since the last time whats his face reviewed the 40, he made negative comments about it not having trim tabs. Bob says slapping on the trim tabs cost about 7 MPH. Not sure what needed to be modified, but I guess when they design these boats, they do it assuming they won't be fitted with tabs. ---- John

P.S. fwiw apparently the 2 BMax drives that Advantage got for the boat don't work and never have. They have a real bad view of BMax right now.
