My buddy just recently picked up a project 1985 39' Stinger that I found for him. We're going to redo the boat from top-to-bottom. I need all of the pictures and information anyone has. Thanks in advance for the help!

His plan is to restore the boat completely, and right now we are leaning towards the original "Miami Vice" Navy Blue striped paint scheme, with matching interior. It would be silly to try and make the boat as flashy as any of the 2005's . . . that's too much paint anyhow! I'll keep you posted, but keep the pics coming so we can see what's out there!

I am doing the same thing to an '85 that I purchased back in April. I am just about to launch it hopefully the end of this week with rebuilt 454 / 440 cyclones. This is the same paint schme you want to use (ie. Miami Vice blue) Send me your email and I will forward you a bunch of pictures. I will post a few here as well. It has been a long summer of work but hopefully I will get the reward soon.
