Default Pure Insanity 1979 30 ft Scarab???

Does anyone know where this boat is? Al Copeland and I leased and raced this boat in the 1979 Warmington Grand Prix in California. It was in production class and we ran with a guy named Terry Bersutch. It was yellow with twin 350 mercruisers. I would be interested in purchasing if I could locate and make deal. Great memories 200 miles, offshore, and ROUGH. We came in second by about 300 yards behind Bill Gazelle in Great Adventure. Thanks.

Dear Stan,
I think believe I've got the "Pure Insanity" boat available. If it's the ex. Jeff Brown boat Your looking for it should be it. Was originally yellow and is now white and has been running with kaama drives at her later years. If You're still interested I'll send a couple of pictures. Reach me by email [email protected], since I haven't been on the forum for a while I can't figure out the private message function no more.

Sincerely,

Lars.

P.S. Good luck at the Al Copeland Memorial Celebration. D.S.
