Default Rolla Rockers in Gen VI heads

What is involved in installing a set of stainless rolla rockers in Gen VI 454 heads. Do i have to pull the heads and mill the stud holes for 7/16 studs.

don't need to mill heads just swap out the netlash nonadjusatable studs for some that are. and then you will need to set the valves accordingly as they will now be adjustable and no longer just torque them down the new rockers should come with pollylocks to adjust you cant use any of the old stuff with the new studs or rockers

I have two Comp Cam screw in stud kits, never used for your heads.

Crane has a complete roller rocker conversion kit for you that includes new adapter studs that screw right in. Use the comp cams roller rockers pro-magnum 8640 steel set are the best for the buck. You might want to put on a set of Comp's 26120 behive springs and retainers too. they can be changed on the motor without pulling the heads with a little compressed air in the spark plug hole a a lever bar type spring compressor. Change the seals to the new press on Viton type while you're at it.
