Dressing up a 454 mag?
#1
I have all stock black '96 454 mag with carb. Looking to up the "wow" factor on a budget. I'm in salt water for the next 6 months before I move out to San Diego- so I'm going to hold on off on CMI exhaust until then. I was thinking some nice valve covers would look good. Any suggestions for a silver satin look?
What else makes an engine stand out in the crowd? (I know a blower is the best way to top an engine, but I'm strapped just buying the boat)

Try finding someone to ceramis coat a few parts for you.. Or powdercoat some of them.. If thats to expensive, sand prime and paint.. Cleanlyness is the real wow factor for me. You could have a 300k boat with all the chrome. If its dirty, well it looks like chit...
