Yep! I'm here - work is just sooo busy that I have little time to stay active on the net right now - I'm watching the posts and trying to stay caught up!!
The storm didn't get us, we were on the "clean side". We got some mild winds and high tides, but no rain to speak of. The devastation is eye-opening, and the Houston area is grateful it didn't turn our way, but now we are turining all efforts to aiding our friends to the east.
I'm sure France will quickly come to our aid as well........
We've seen SUV's full of people and household goods at our local hotels, so folks are taking refuge anywhere they can - the interstate to Lousiana is apparently shut down with bridges out and rescue searches continue. I know of people looking for their boats within 150 miles and simply cannot find them.
Tom, Thanks for checking in - I've seen your posts and it sounds like your shake down is nearing complete? Keep us posted!!
