Great topic...we've been thinking of upgrading to twins...now we're rethinking keeping the single even
. Seriously, the gas prices have influenced our decision of what to purchase next (whenever that time comes).

I was thinking of getting something a little better riding and more usable cuddy cabin. Now I am serious thinking of saving money and trading for a pontoon. Figure it stills gets me out there, and then in a few years when I make more money, get back into performance boating.
After seeing gas jump 10 cents here, I pretty much decided to put my atv up for sale. Never ride it and could use that payment to fund gas for the boat.

Ah sell the house.....you can live on a boat but can't float and sail a house
Seriously, gas prices are insane!!! I only have a 40 gallon tank that uses 5 gal/hour at cruise which isn't all that bad, but now I'm only using my boat every other weekend.
But then comes winter hear on the east coast so we can save money for gas next year

That being said there are probably some great deals to be had on used boats from people who can't afford to run them right now.
