1988~Well Craft Nova III~should buy?

Wanting any comments on a 1988~Well Craft Nova III~27'
or on WellCraft boats in general. It has Twin 270's. Is it worth 25K. In great shape.

I owned a 1983 Wellcraft Nova 2 for 6 years and we loved it. Rock solid, dependable, nice ride in choppy weather. Sold it last year with over 1200 hours on the original T-270 engines, still running strong. I think 25K is way high; I got 10 for mine last year; it was easily a "9" on a scale of 1 to 10.

Had 86 Wellcraft Nova 23xl bbc since new, engines modified in 1991 sold earlier this year-18 year love affair with boat.
No complaints except for a little gel coat cracking on bow and a motor mount. Very solid boats for the $$$

Good luck

The Nova III is a great boat ,, good balance and plenty of power with the 270"s,,, However as others have said ,, that price is way too high for the boat ,,, if the conditions is perfect with trailor and fresh engines ,,,, maybe 16-18K ,,, there are too many boats on the market to be paying top price for this one ,,,, good luck ,,

I will sell you a 26 foot 1987 Chris Craft Stinger with twin 260s for less.
That nova is 27 feet overall. The stinger is 28 overall. They are both basically 26s from bow to inside corner of stern.
