how to winterize 525 hp
#3
Its in the book.
Short version:
First, warm the engine up to operating temperature.
Remove the Fuel Filter, drain half of the fuel out, and fill it with Mercury 2-Stoke Oil. Re-install filter.
Hook up your muffs or your engine flush fitting to 5-6 gallons of antifreeze, and let it idle its way through the antifreeze, and shut it off.
DO NOT spray fogging oil down the throttle body.
You're done.

ripped it up in Gloucester and flew back doing about 95 (ok it was about 65) down the Annissquam to Black Cow down the st from you, over did it and slept in boat @ town dock. so much for the vacation. Hope all works out down there, let me know when the bots home - we can race and I'll let you beat me.

I always wondered if I should pull the stats ...but never did.
It's a small but present risk I think.
