Hello JS , i made some test at our lake last week-end ,
no wind
flat lake

I try a rev4 23 " and it's same result than my prop send to Houston prop

23 Mirage plus (lab by Houston prop) 67.4 5100 RPM
23 Rev4 67.6 4900 RPM

Better hole shot with the rev 4

I supposed to meet Nick at Quebec city for the Poker Run this week-end , and we will try the lab finish from a guy near your home (chambly) and i will let you know the result

I don't know if you go with GLH for the week-end , but if you go , have a safe Week-End , and say Hello to Marie-jo

P.S. as soon i have the DVD from the poker run of the Toro , i will send you a copy and a Cd of picture from the week-end

Best Regard's

Hi Chris,

@I try a rev4 23 " and it's same result than my prop send to Houston prop@

That is good news! Another thing really important is that the 4 blades should give you better midrange RPM'S. Witch means less stress on the engine and drive for the same speed. Also better MPG and handling. Keep me informed.

Yes I'l be at GLH's run this weekend. Have a nice and safe trip to down Quebec. See ya.

Default Ok let me show you my result

Ok past monday a made some test , the temperature is 83 degF , no wind , no shop and this is the result

For the best top speed is my mirage (not plus) 25 X 3 =67,5
RPM 4750
For the best handling is my Rev 4 23 X 4 = 66,5
RPM 4900
For the best of two world my Mirage Plus (Houston prop) = 67
RPM 5100

But the better thing happen to me, is this past week-end (Poker Run of Quebec City) when i pass my friend with is Sunsation 288 under the Quebec bridge on St-Laurence river , small shop , i show him my better big smile , and 2 week before on the Kingston Bay at the 1000 Island poker run i pass another friend of mine with is Sunsation 288 to , in 3 to 4 feet of sea , he never be able to past me , great satisfaction , i looking forward for this winter when we meet us around a good bottle of wine and supper , my friend's will alway's try to find a good excuse's to explain what arrive this both day (Jean-François for sure ... ), for me it's a great summer because when JF accepted to become a Sunsation dealership i thinking my small boat will never be able to compete against this kind of 288 , but after a complete summer my Outlaw did a great job against this invasion in the Baja land

P.S. JS may be we are able to see us this week-end (labor day), because we looking to go to Champlain if the weather is good , see you there CIAO

Hi!

Those are good results! I guess a Labed REV4 would be the key!

Happy to ear about the two 288 Sunsations you passed! I think I'l start a tread in Sunsation section and get some action!

We had a choppy lake on the milk run this weekend!
The 25 made a good job but I had to slow down many times... I was impressed by the way a 29 scarab handles the rough!

I got to go to a wedding on Saturday. I'l be on the lake on Sunday and Monday. Nice weather ahead, Sunny but a little breezy and cool.

Gimme a buzz. Think you have all my numbers.

See ya Sunday.
