Default Swim Platform

I love my thru-transom exhaust. I don't think I could ever own a boat without it. But...

My "current" girlfriend loves the swim platform on ski boats. She loves being able to sit right at the water level with her legs in the water.

Any ideas?

My thru hulls come out below my swim platform. Your right, I couldn't see parting with either. Plus, its a great place for the chickies to squat when they gotta go pee. God I love that!!

I have a Crownline, but I'm gonna sell it.

I am thinking about my next boat. I would love to have a Cig, but I think a Fountain is in my future. I have two local Fountains priced right. Plus the built-in swim platform sits very near the water.

I took this route--we made platform out of starboard. I used the original brackets that supported the teak platform. I pleased--it's right at the waterline sitting still.

Nice pics, Poorsche.

Do you have a problem with people stepping on the exhaust tips? Are the exhaust tips hot?

I've got freshwater cooling, if that makes a difference, tips don't get hot--warm is all. I've got a few dumb as dirt friends but even they haven't gotten close to the tips. Guess they imagine they are hot so they don't get near them.

The way the thing ladi up it's a prefect step from platfom onto sunpad--really no reason to look for another step. I may get one of those stainles ladders that mount under the platform to make it a little easier to get onto platfrom from the water.
