Default Wette Vette circa early 90's

Rember the Bandit with the ZR1 motor? What happened to that boat? I'd love to have it just to look at. It is really nothing by todays standards as far as HP goes, but still cool in my book.

If that is the red bandit with the white windshield and prostock snorkel, it was for sale in June when I bought my boat....believe it's in texas.

No, I don't think that is the one. This is one that Mercruiser & Baja built to showcase the ZR1 motor that was built in Stillwater.

I heard from someone the boat was stolen at some point and was never recovered. I can't remember where I heard that. I am a boater and a Vette guy so I named my boat WETTE VETTE as well. It was a cool concept boat. I think it did high 70's to low 80's, which is pretty good for a 23' small block powered boat!!

If I remember the story correctly, the boat was abandoned in an alley or something when they got stuck, so they took off with the Corvette which was never recovered. Supposedly, the boat is in Canada somewhere.
